I've been busy for the past three days, participating in a Trinity Divinity Associates conference. Today I swung smoke for the final Eucharist, and had a wonderful time attending panel discussions, joining small group work, helping shape a conference statement and, most of all, chatting with some very intelligent and interesting people. The conference closed with a lovely banquet, and I now have that pleasant warmth around me that comes from good food and a couple glasses of wine. I'm going to sleep now, and dream of a church that talks and listens and honestly wrestles with scripture. |
