It's good to be home.

It's also good to hear that Pat Robertson, self-proclaimed Christian, recommends murder as a means to solve international disputes.

"We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

Pat Robertson, on The 700 Club, speaking about Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez.

This man calls himself a Christian...doesn't sound to me like he's doing a very good job of following Christ. Oh, he'll rant and rave about the evils of homosexuality but if you want to kill somebody who stands in America's way? Go to it, with Pat's blessing!

This is the trouble facing Christianity...idiots like this spout off and the world thinks that he represents Christ's church. For those non-Christian readers, let me say this clearly - Pat Robertson may consider himself Christian, but he doesn't act or sound like it. He doesn't speak for me, he doesn't speak for the mass of Christians and he most certainly doesn't speak for Christ.

You wonder if he's ever even read the Gospels.
