From CNN.com... The violence overnight Tuesday into Wednesday was less severe than previous nights, with fewer than 600 vehicles being burned in France, French state radio reported. That was a marked decrease from Saturday, when more than 1,400 were burned. You know that the world is in the hand basket when the French are judging the seriousness of a night's rioting by how many cars were burned...and 600 is a good sign. I enjoy watching OMNI News: South Asian Edition. Not only do the anchors have lovely accents, the commercials are far more entertaining for their novelty. It's fun to watch Wal-Mart trying to advertise itself as a multicultural shopping centre. |
