This is pretty cool...this map shows all the countries from which visitors have accessed this site. It's from World66.com and is supposed to be used to track visited countries...but since my cosmopolitan experience is limited to Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. I'm using it to display visitors.

Nope. Nothing interesting happening here. Time to trot out the stats.

Actually there is a piece of interesting news...a friend and I have tossed our hats into the ring to be co-heads of Divinity next year. It's mostly going to meetings and organizing meetings and calling meetings...but both M and I have an interest in how the faculty operates as a community, beyond the classroom.

The election will be in a couple weeks but the news came out after today's Eucharist. Nominations are still being taken, so it feels a bit weird. If anyone else wants to run they'll now look like they're running as a reaction to the announcement, as if they're opposing us.

I guess it goes the other way, too. Anyone who thinks we ought not get the job will now know to run themselves.
