Amy and I spent Friday and Saturday with her parents - a late celebration of her pa's birthday - and with Pan and Vive, Amy's friends since back in the day. (Which day? I think it was a Tuesday...) We ate out with mum and dad, visited Pan's classroom (he teaches French immersion kindergarten) and even ran into Amy's brother and family. I was sleepy for much of the weekend, but it was that pleasant sleepy that turns the world into a watercolour painting...aahhhh. Of course, I ended up writing my sermon Saturday night...oops. It actually turned out pretty well. I got a shouted "Amen!" from the back as I ended. I didn't think Anglicans did that. |
