Busy In Between

Being co-head and liturgy coordinator at the same time is busy. Very busy. It's not the official tasks, the things you actually hear about in the job description. What makes you busy are the in-betweens, the unwritten expectations such as having to show up to everything and linger afterward for questions and to make sure things get put away and locked up. There's a lot of obligation (at least for those who feel the pull of such things) that goes with the job that never gets mentioned.

Rather like being rector of a parish, I imagine. Good training, eh?
