I've been running all over lately, taking this form to that person and that application to this office. By the end of it I ought to be either dead or safely in Canada with a study permit.

Speaking of study, I signed up for my classes...at 6:05am on the first day the system accepted registration. Yes, I'm a keener. Yes, I am Hermione Granger. So sue me. My course list...

  • Leadership in the Church
  • Anglican History and Theology
  • Ethics and Society
  • Principals and Practices of Liturgy (nee Worship)
  • History of the Church in the Middle Ages

This would be plenty, and would set the course for my graduation right on schedule. I could finish up my requirements in the first term of third year and then have an entire semester to delve into electives*. Still, there are a couple courses open that are taught by one of my favourite profs. I could take another class... Nah. It's already too expensive as it is! Maybe I'll just ask if I can sit in...

Second semester will be field ed, my internship placement. I'm not yet sure where I'll go, or who'd have me. Fr. O says I could stay at St. Anne's, and I do see opportunities there...I could do pastoral work for the parish and the retirement home, and I could explore education in the Sunday school. Both are things I need work on and both are things with which St. Anne's needs help, but the diocese likes to see people move about a bit more. Who knows?

* I couldn't remember this word to save my life. I had to look on my curriculum planner. Alzheimers doesn't run in my family...it gallops.
